Hi Amy! Here are some of the first pictures of Crosby with my two children. They love him! We are very grateful to have him as a member of our family. Crosby was so playful but, just as you said in your previous e-mail, as soon as it was 10:00 MST (11:00 CST) he found a nice spot on the kitchen rug and fell asleep. Again, thanks for everything. Your service was spectacular!

Hi Amy! I just wanted to send you pix of my daughter’s Ayanna and Siena with little Riki Estevan! They love their new little brother!! Feel free to post on your website. BTW – I will fax you the vet form – he had a clean bill of health. The Vet was very impressed with all that was included in your paperwork – he said a lot of breeders do not include all the detail you had included. This is of course made my day as it assured that I made the right decision.
Have a beautiful weekend!! Sonal Davé
Amy, I have been meaning to write you to let you know that we love our new puppy. He is so sweet and has the best temperament. He never meets a stranger…..he has to greet everybody he sees. I have owned several different breeds of dogs but, this breed is by far the best ever! I am so glad we found you here in Texas. My son is getting over his fear of dogs….thanks to sweet little Leo J
Thank you so much for your professionalism and taking my numerous calls for weeks. Caressa Hughes 5-11-08
Hi Amy
She is such a little cutie and is very precious...
.My husband who is over 6 Ft said to me he just LOVES that little girl to death! She melts his heart.
My daughter cried when she 1st saw her because she was so happy and just loves her.
My son thinks the world of her as well.
Our other dog Kuma has a playmate and is have fun running around with her.
The vet who saw her last night was very impressed by your vacanation information and said that you did an excellent job!
Thanks again and I will try to send pictures as she grows! Kelly
Just a quick note that Mylei is awesome. We love her so much and she has brought so much joy to our lives. It's hard to remember how dull life without her. We had her groomed and she is all sivler now. She loves life and thinks everyone is in love with her - and of course everyone loves her. Thank you so much for letting us adopt this beautiful lovable little girl.

Amy, Please disregard the email I sent you on Christmas Eve. We figured it out. Petey (Havanese) is now sleeping
fine in his carrier. (And he loves me the most.)
I bet the hardest part of your job is giving up wonderful puppies after raising them.
I can probably bet that I will be buying another puppy from you in the near future.
Thanks again, Nezar 12/26/2007
Just thought you would like to know that Pearl (Lacy) is doing really well. She's very smart and is taking to her house training easily. You did a great job getting her to associate outside and going to the potty. She does her job immediately when you take her out.
Donnie is totally smitten. He never lets dogs in bed but by the second night, she had a permanent spot in between us no less.
The other dogs are doing fine and I've had no mishaps with the excited Schipperke or misplaced paws by the Dobe. The cats have started to play with her a little bit. Much to her disappointment, they don't run from her much however.
I've never had a lap dog and did not realize what a dependant personality they have. She's happy and very obedient as long as you let her stay right by your side, in your shirt, or in your chair. I put her in the crate when I'm gone and I swear from the look on the other dog's faces when I return, I think she must cry the whole time. Makes me feel sorry for all three of them!!!
Thank you for such a lovely baby. She's really a very sweet and loving little girl. Suzette Kyle 1/11/2008
Hi Amy,
I just wanted to let you know I just faxed over the vet examination form. We named him Jasper and the vet said he was healthy. He is doing really great at home. He hasn't had an accident in his crate yet and has only had a couple accidents in the house the first day. He loves my other dog but the jury is still out on how my big dog feels about Jasper. My other dog is nine years old and is not quite as playful. Jasper is not the slightest bit intimidated by the size of my big dog (he is about 60 lbs.). Anyway, all is well. We are enjoying watching him.
Please let me know if you have everything for the warranty. Also, if you can't read the number for the microchip let me know. I am not sure if it will come out very well on the fax.
Thanks for your help. Kimberely Miller 1-15-08
Hi Amy,
I wanted to send a quick update on how Brewsky and Chantilly are doing. They are both doing great, they are now Stitch and Kiko and are learning their names quickly. Kiko has reliably learned how to sit, Stitch gets it right about 50% of the time. We have even started leash training (but only in our back yard since they aren't done with vaccinations) Kiko gets it right about 60% of the time, Stitch is a little more variable, he likes to chew on Kiko's leash. They made the trip with no problems and saw the vet on monday who said they looked good and should have faxed the paper work to you. They like to play together and with us, but don't want to be too far from us in the new surroundings. We are probably spoiling them with the variety of toys they have, but they love playing with everything from squeky balls to nylabones. Potty training is progressing, they still seem to go when the urge hits, but are good about not going in their crate and we have been coming home every 4 hours so that hasn't been a problem. Hopefully the link between outside and inside will come, but thankfully they only go a couple of tablespoons at a time so the mess isn't too bad. We bought them a crate from walmart as you suggested, the $45 was much better than $90 at petsmart and they seem to like it. We keep it near us during the day and at night so they often go in their on their own accord. The Royal Canin has gone over well, it is great that they will eat without having to wet or add anything to the food.
Take care, Kyle 1-17-2008
Dear Amy’s Future Puppy Clients,
Read this only if you are serious about the Toy Havanese – it’s a long letterJ
I know my daughter Ali is going to write all about how perfect our baby Havanese Chloe is, so I want to write to you, Amy’s future clients, about the financial aspect of acquiring one of Amy’s puppies. When we decided to get Chloe we realized she would be ready to come to her “forever home” before we were ready to receive her. We had a vacation out of the country planned and did not want her staying with our house sitter during her first weeks in Colorado. We decided we wanted Chloe, yet we would need to board her at Amy’s until we came home. When we talked about this plan we were told it would be payment in full plus boarding fees. At first this surprised me because I had talked to other breeders and had followed Puppy.Com and thought only a deposit was required until a puppy actually came home. After talking with Amy, I learned a deposit is to hold a new puppy. A puppy ready to come home needs full payment. I needed a minute to consider all of this. How VERY glad I am that I didn’t wait too long and allow someone else to reserve our Chloe.
Here’s where the story really begins. When we started searching we naively thought $800.00 would be the price we would pay. We inched it up to $1000.00 when we learned the Havanese breed could be bred in a “Toy” version. My daughter had done so much research and corresponded to so many breeders that when she found Chloe and Amy, she realized Chloe was the one. Once Ali told me she found the perfect puppy, I got into the picture by looking at Amy’s web site, the puppy, then Amy and I began talking and e-mailing. Imagine my thoughts and apprehension when Ali showed me a $1500.00 puppy that was ready to come home sooner then we could get her? In talking with Amy I learned a lot about the daily care and handling of her puppies and was soon convinced Amy would be the breeder we would buy from. I reasoned a couple of hundred dollars more is worth it for our forever puppy and newest family member that would be with us for the next decade and much more.
With Amy, I knew I had nothing to fear and felt great peace about keeping our baby in her care for the extra three weeks paid in full. I was even glad Chloe would have the extra special time with Amy, her daughter, and Chloe’s dog mom. However, a few people questioned me. We live in a small town and the girls at the bank thought I was crazy to wire a lot of money to somebody I had never met. I knew I had nothing to fear. They told me of scams and problems. My bank did not participate in our conversations and had not talked with the few other breeders I had talked to. What I am trying to say is I paid the full amount including boarding fee and shored up the most perfect baby girl from the most reliable breeder and excellent quality dog lines - we have no regrets.
Chloe’s temperament, size, and looks were very important to us. We wanted a Toy Havanese and that is what Amy delivered. We expect her to be around 6 LBs. or so full grown – just like Amy told us. Our vet was very impressed with Amy’s thoroughness and the quality of puppy we have. If someone is on the fence regarding the price of a Toy Havanese or payment in full before you can get her/him I want to say just do it before someone else gets your baby. We could not be more happy or satisfied and hope to one day talk my husband into baby #2 who of course could come only from Amy at Aw Havanese – Thank you Amy!

Dear Whoever This Regards,
I thought it would be suitable if I added a section about my baby havanese (Chloe) to my mom’s letter. I have wanted a little puppy for as long as I can remember! My dad finally said that I could have one if I got all A’s my eighth grade year. After I found this out I did a TON of research! I explored every type of smaller dog there is and the havanese seemed to be the best suited for our life style of camping, boating, relaxing, watching movies, traveling for soccer/basketball/tennis tournaments, and living in the mountains. Sadly I didn’t get all A’s but then we changed the plan. My dad and mom said that I could get a puppy for graduation/birthday present. I was THRILLED! We talked to many breeders and Amy was for sure the BEST! I fell in love with Chloe (formally known as Babette). She would be the perfect size (between 4-6 pounds), the perfect color, the perfect temperament (for a girl who wanted a lap puppy but still would play), and just the perfect everything! The night I knew for sure Chloe was mine was the best night of my life! I WAS SO HAPPY! When she finally arrived I got her out of her crate and I knew it was destiny! Chloe loved me right away, and vice versa! The plane ride didn’t affect her at all! She was very happy and cheery and didn’t even need nutria-cal (even though we gave it to her because of Amy’s instructions). She licked my face VERY THROUGHLY and was just amazing! Chloe is now 5 months old and is just a doll! Last we checked she weighed 4.8 lbs. She knows sit, down, off, come, up, and is almost potty trained. She is wonderful! I don’t think I can say that enough! She sleeps on my bed with me and from the start slept all through the night! When she needs to potty she comes over and licks my face a few times and just sits and waits until I get up to let her go to the bathroom. She follows me around and loves to be held. She also loves to play with all her toys and playing ball with our older golden (which is chasing our golden up and down the yard). Chloe barley barks and when she does it is just to let someone know she home being the protector of the house. She stops barking just as soon as soon as I tell her to. I don’t know how else to describe her except for perfect and amazing! She is the best puppy in the entire world, and I couldn’t have asked for anything better! I also wouldn’t trade her for anything! If I ever get another puppy it will certainly be from Amy because Chloe is just AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks Amy! Sincerely, Ali – 14 yrs.
Dear Amy,
I just wanted to send you our latest pictures of Maggie (Kenzie). She's
just hilarious! She's really matured over the last month. She's just about
ready for her next grooming, but I wanted you to see all 8.5 pounds of her!
Many thanks, Karen
Hi Amy, He is well and happy. Tonight he was playing up and down with John & Carmen.
Thanks, will post you in the future.
Amy,
See attached Vet Exam Form for Mo-Jo to complete the requirements for your warranty. Taggart (we have renamed Mo-Jo) is doing great! He has adjusted very well and does not seem to miss his former playmates too much. He has been doing very well with holding his (number 2) until outside, but it is a little harder to know when he is going to pee….so we are just staying on top of it and trying to take him out more often than not. Probably too much information….Thanks again. I have also faxed the forms to the number on the form, but thought I would also email.

Hi Amy, Monty is doing well. He cry just a little bit living your drive way. On the way he sleept all over Carmen's head, lap, etc. He got home and meet his new family member Zeus and Rudy. They played with him. He is tired and happy I would say. He slept in our bed all night till 5:30 am. He went back to bed till 9:00.
He is back taking a nap on the couch, after playing with his new friends.
I thought you might like to know he is well and we are happy with him. He is cute.
Thanks, Marcela
Amy, Hollywood (Chase) is doing great. He was perfect the day of travel--leaving the house in April Sound at 7 AM and not being able to run until 2:30 PM. He was taken out of the travel crate while I was waiting at the gate and for a few minutes on the plane and that was all. BUT he never whined or barked. From the first night he has sleep all night--you trained him well.
Hope you received the completed vet form on Monday, September 29, 2008. I had him checked by my vet Monday and brought the form home to mail. Later in the day as I was about to mail it THEN I read that the vet was to fax it from their office. Another trip to the vet (luckily she isn't as far away as yours) and it was sent. Teaches you that you need to read everything.
Our whole family is out of our minds over this precious little puppy. Thanks for all your patience and answering all my silly questions. He does have a very loving home.
Have a wonderful year.

Hi Amy,
I want to thank you for the great job you did raising Cooper. My four year old is able to pick him up while he is relaxing, chewing on a bone, running, or at any time. If he minds, he doesn't show it. He is playful and happy. I also want to thank you for the support you have given me with the many questions that I had before buying him. I was very skeptical of purchasing on-line, but because of your knowledge and help, I took the plunge and am happy I did. You may have to send more puppies to Ohio because everyone that meets him just falls in love with him and wants one. Don't be surprised if you get a call or two from my area. The vet check-up was a success. He just laid there letting her check him out. I am happy to say that he is very healthy! Thanks again, and I am sure that I will have even more questions, I am training him. :)
